Senior Appointments Across Sectors In The Week To 11 July

The week to 11 July brought a notable concentration of senior appointments across entertainment, pharmaceuticals, retail, industry and finance — several of them into newly created sustainability and transformation mandates.

The pattern is worth noting. Roles that sat two levels below the executive committee five years ago are now being filled at board level, with direct responsibility for capital allocation.

For project sponsors, this changes who the right first conversation is with. Environmental initiatives increasingly have an executive owner from the outset rather than acquiring one late in the approval cycle.
